Subaru WRX?

my partner is buying me a Subaru WRX and I am trying to decide between the standard WRX or the WRX sti, we are in Australia...anyway advantages/disadvantages for both, we are paying cash....... Mitch

3. the sti is faster than the wrx but more expensive really depends on what you need the car for they are both awd


4. Well, you are lucky that you'll probably get a UK version which is better than we have in the States. From what I know, the main difference between the STI and WRX is that the STI has about 70+ more HP AND has the ability to adjust the power distribution between the front and rear wheels. Also, i think a 6speed trans is available in the STI model.

   You may want to check out the new for 2007 Legacy Spec B, this also has programmable driving modes and a 6 speed trans.



5. You won't regret buying the WRX STI.

   When you open up the throttle on the freeway and fly past anything in front of you lol. You will even give those Holden Monaro's a run for their money.

   But if it's too expensive you will be happy with the WRX, that's the middleman. Below Impreza WRX is just cars for the wife's
