How do you get rid of the pulsating sound problem when running Linux Ubuntu on VMWare Player?
I'm running Linux Ubuntu on VMWare player. Every time I play sound file on Ubuntu, it comes out in pulses. Does anyone know how to fix that? Please dumb-down the answer because I don't know much about computers. Secondly, how can i share the files that I have on Windows 7 with the Ubuntu that I run on VMWare Player?

- Here are some sound troubleshooting links. THe first starts by talking about no sound but soon get to a pulsating sound.
A very easy way to share files between windows and ubuntu is to install vmware tools. See the last link.
