How can I configure linux debian in vmware Im using vista?
I downloaded VMware as virtual machine and Linux Debian virtual appliance in my vista computer. I went through a long configuration and after that It asked me for my username and i fill in the username that I created from the configuration but when I tried to type in the password it won't let me and i got stuck in the command prompt. I don't know if there's something wrong with my configuration. Please help.

- If you have never used Linux, please try Ubuntu instead. Much easier for new comers. Otherwise, I suggest either the Debian or VMWare forums for better answers.
- You're not stuck. Just type your password and hit Enter when you're done.
