How can you tell if VMWare is installed on a server? We have to figure out a way to find out if VMWare is installed on the server. The System Administrator is not here anymore. I am trying connect one vmware computer to another vmare server? I created the user account on the computer with server 2003. I joined the domain on the xp pro computer. When I try to login to the domain created on the server 2003 computer I get the error saying that "the system annot log you on now beause the domain is not available". Have anyone configered VMWare esx server in vmware workstation.? I am stuck in typical problem. I am using VMWare workstation and installed Linux on it. Then i went for VMWare ESX 3.5.0 installation. The installation went fine but after a reboot the ESX server refuses to start up in normal mode. But the ESX server is starting up in troubleshoot mode which is not very much help for me because i have limited knowledge over linux. Plz help
